15 minutes away from Quillan, is a spacious old character house in the small sleepy village of La Serpent in the Languedoc Roussillon region of southwest France. The village of La Serpent has a large privately owned chateau, is surrounded by vineyards and enjoys spectacular views of The Pyrenees. Time passes more slowly here so that you can enjoy the pleasures of life.

La Serpent can be found 20 minutes south of the town of Limoux which is famous for it's sparkling wine, Blanquette de Limoux, and also for it's Carnival. Limoux has a lively square with many restaurants and bars. It is 40 minutes south of picturesque Carcassonne.

This is a traditional and comfortable village house on two floors, equipped for 6 persons. It has two separate lounges, both with wood burning fires, TVs, video, DVD and music centre. The fully-fitted and equipped kitchen has a cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, as well as smaller electrical items such as a toaster, etc). Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms, 3 loos and 2 bathrooms.

Outside there is a garden and a large private patio with furniture and barbecue.
